Lolo Gavietto

Born in Tahiti, French Polynesia, I learned the art of tatau at 23 years old as a form of storytelling. I initially practiced tattooing on my own foot before tattooing on others full time. I have since customized hundreds of tattoos for individuals from all over the world drawing my inspiration from Polynesian art and culture. Every piece is one of a kind, thoughtfully created to tell each one’s personal story.

• Né à Tahiti en Polynésie Française, j’ai appris, à 23 ans, que l’art du tatau était une manière de raconter des histoires. Je m’entrainais d’abord à tatouer mon propre pied avant de tatouer les autres à plein temps. Depuis, j’ai personnalisé plus d’une centaine de tatouages inspirés par l’art et la culture polynésienne pour des individus venus du monde entier. Chaque tatouage est unique et créé sur mesure pour raconter l’histoire de chacun de mes clients.

Lolo Tattoo Studio

My tattoo studio is currently under construction. Until its completion I, along with my wife and two children, will be welcoming you into our home in Nuuroa, Moorea. The tattoo space is cozy and looks upon the surrounding mountains. You can often hear the birds singing in the yard and sometimes the neighborhood children coming to the gate to ask to pick our fruits. • Mon nouveau studio de tatouage est en cours de construction. Jusqu’à la fin de la construction je vous accueillerais chez moi où vivent ma femme et mes deux enfants. L’espace de tatouage est confortable et vous permet de contempler les montagnes. On peut souvent entendre les oiseaux chanter et parfois entendre les enfants du quartier qui nous demandent des fruits au portail.
